Built by practitioners, not by template.
FoodTech Calc is shaped by hands-on food processing, bakery operations, and the day-to-day reality of turning engineering theory into usable production decisions. This page introduces the people steering that work.
Logo Definition
The FoodTechCalc logo captures the platform’s core mission. The top calculator symbolizes the precision of its engineering tools. The stacked layers beneath serve a dual purpose: they represent the deep academic research powering those tools, and they symbolize the digital “pages” of the site’s blog, where a bakery entrepreneur and a food process engineer share their real-world industry experiences. Together, they illustrate the shift from manual paperwork to a centralized hub — seamlessly blending theory, shared expertise, and actionable calculations.
Food technologist and process engineer currently working with an industry-leading food and dairy organisation, bringing hands-on experience in designing, troubleshooting and optimising food manufacturing processes.
With a strong foundation in food science — spanning thermal processing, rheology, mass balance and food chemistry — I built FoodTech Calc to bridge the gap between rigorous engineering principles and practical day-to-day process work. Every calculator on this platform is grounded in the same methodology I use professionally.
Alongside the engineering tools, the Food Technology section serves as a growing library of theory articles — structured for students and working professionals who want both the equations and the understanding behind them.

About FoodTech Calc
FoodTech Calc was built out of a genuine need — a platform where food engineers can perform rigorous, reliable process calculations directly in the browser without any installation, subscription or guesswork. Too many food engineering calculations live in spreadsheets that are hard to share, undocumented, or error-prone. FoodTech Calc aims to fix that.
Every calculator is built on peer-reviewed engineering principles, with clearly labelled inputs and outputs, validated against literature data. The Food Technology theory articles are written to complement the tools — giving the understanding behind the equations, not just the numbers.
Product Specialist with 3.5+ years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, my work has spanned field research, international market exposure, and cross-functional coordination — giving me a ground-level understanding of how food businesses truly function.
Alongside my industry career, I manage a family-run bakery business — and that experience is the heart of this platform. Every calculator and resource here is built from real operational challenges: costing a batch, scaling a recipe, understanding ingredients. This is not only textbook knowledge — it is tested, practical, and built for people who are actually in the kitchen or the boardroom.
Currently upskilling in Digital Marketing and Data Analytics, I am committed to making food and bakery knowledge more accessible, structured, and actionable — whether you are a home baker, a food entrepreneur, or a professional in the industry.
